Stuart Wagner is a top-notch trial lawyer with a distinguished record in personal injury, legal negligence, construction accidents, and commercial litigation. When a client comes to Stuart with a problem, it becomes his problem. He is self-driven, relentless, and brings decades of courtroom experience to every case he takes on.
Stuart has earned recognition throughout the New York legal community for his results in both jury trials and mediations. His work has been featured in the New York Jury Verdict Reports, The New York Law Journal, and the New York Post. Among his notable cases, Stuart filed two of the first medical malpractice lawsuits arising out of the 2007 Hepatitis C outbreak discovered by the New York City Board of Health, representing business executives who were negligently infected during routine endoscopy procedures.
Asked what drew him to personal injury law, Stuart says: “I enjoy working closely with my clients, understanding their needs and how their injuries changed their lives. Seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces after obtaining a large settlement or verdict is extremely satisfying.”
Stuart graduated Magna Cum Laude from Queens College of the City of New York and earned his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1988 and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association (Tort Litigation Committee), the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
